Last week I was working on a ‘cosy’ feature for Woman magazine and it got me thinking about how I got started in interiors. It was all down to cushions. Well actually it was because I got really into making elaborate tassels and needed somewhere to put the tassels, which led to cushions and onto curtains and the rest, as they say, is history!

Autumn/Winter. That time of year that’s all about new coats, new shoes and new pencil cases. And, if you look at interiors trends, pink and purple. Yes, every year, as predictable as the lack of Indian summer, comes an array of cushions, vases, and even sofas in funky fuchsias and moody maroons. Ever since the days of Margaret Howell’s T shirts and Frankie Goes to Hollywood, slogans have been, quite literally, the last word in style. There's Royal Wedding memorabilia and there's Royal Wedding tat.
