You may have heard that pop-up restaurant The Cube by Electrolux is travelling around Europe. So far it has graced the peaks of Milan’s Cathedral, has been perched on top of the Parc du Cinquantiere in Brussels and will land on the roof of the Royal Opera House in Stockholm on 15th June. It will also be coming to London. Cue brass band. On 1st June it will be pitching up at the top of The Royal Festival Hall and here at ACHICA Living we can’t wait to book a seat – not least to enjoy the views over The Thames (aka The Kink'...View more

It's always great to find a new place to eat that looks as gorgeous as the food tastes. A friend of mine invited me to have lunch with her at a tea room in Dulwich recently. I would have one in every room in my house if my husband would let me, so I was really looking forward to seeing how they made this work in a tea room.
When I arrived I was ama...View more

I had lots of fun shooting my favourite gadgets in central London one spring afternoon along with photographer Alex Mackenzie. As a bit of a gadget fan, it was hard to whittle down my favourite gadgets to 10 however. For example, a gadget that didn't make the top 10 list is my trusty MacBook Pro, which I'm tapping away on now and without which I w...View more

I’ve always been a bit of a last-minute holiday planner, and when hearing that my boyfriend had never been to Paris – shock horror – I felt an instant need to rectify the situation. I picked up the DK ‘Eyewitness Travel: Top 10 Paris’ because it seemed handbag friendly and concise. It contained enough tips and information to keep us entertained for months, let alone for the two days we’d hastily booked. I’d recommend it as it’s easy to use and the top 10 lists, which feature subjects such ...View more
