Editor’s Style List: Desirable buys for your home and garden

From beautiful Harlequin bedlinen to clever storage from The Garden Trading Company, here's some hot buys from ACHICA that are catching my eye this week and making me wonder how I ever lived without them...Up first is this luxurious pure cotton sateen bed linen from Harlequin (above and below), which will make you feel like gliding out of bed every morning Alexis Colby style. The Marbree design has a gold flat-piping floral pattern embroidered on the front of the cover, and a plain ivory reverse.

Next up, everyone needs good hall storage. I have a sign in my porch that says 'Please take off your Choos', but it's currently failing to send out a clear message, with visitors striding inside and all over the carpet footwear first. I find this rather frustrating. Perhaps they think it's a joke as I, and they, don't actually own any Jimmy Choos. Perhaps the way to keep things zen at home and ensure it truly is a no-shoe zone is to make the signs a little clearer. This handy Wicker Storage Seat from Garden Trading would be ideal for the hall - filled with boots, brollies and Manolo Blahniks galore (I don't have any of those either, but you get the gist).

As an aside: note to self - must stop buying homewares and focus on some decent designer heels.

Pink teamed with teal is a favourite colour combination at home and Margo Selby has some beautiful block colours in cushions and homewares. She does it particularly well giving these simple cushions a cool and quirky twist as the design is based on London's Trellick Tower architecture. The Casino cushion is also a stunning buy and its rainbow design would team well with most colour schemes to give the room a lift. Definitely a hot buy.
