Is it cocktail o'clock again yet?

Here at ACHICA Living, we love a cocktail or two…we also love the iconic building that is Battersea Power Station, so when we were invited to enjoy a night of both, we couldn't resist RSVPing. Here’s what we got up to in a night dedicated to playing with our imagination and senses…

Where we went:

We boarded the super-luxe Silver Sturgeon, the flagship vessel of the lavish Silver Fleet, from The Savoy Pier. If you ever fancy a sail on it, check out how here. On arrival, we were greeted with Miracle Frooties: magic sweets that play with your taste buds and turn sour into sweet, so as soon as you’ve eaten a sweet you can suck on a lemon without it making you pull a face.

We thought:

How very Willy Wonka.

What we ate:

Beautifully presented and delicious seafood - potted shrimp, lobster, smoked salmon and langoustines, followed by dessert treats of lollipops, mini-meringues and macaroons.

What we drank:

Bombay Sapphire cocktails created by Molecular Mixologists. These included Powerful Chameleons (with black carrot extract and fresh lime), Battersea Martinis and Sapphire Moments (with vanilla syrup and grapefruit juice, topped with apple-y Paradise Air, aka foam).

What went on:

All was not what it seemed in the re-imagined photo booth, which produced laugh-out-loud funny caricatures in under a minute.
