An evening infused with imagination… and gin cocktails

Gin lovers, listen up! ACHICA Living is offering you the chance to revel in an evening of imagination, luxury and indulgence on a boat on the River Thames. You can enjoy molecular cocktails made with the famous Bombay Sapphire gin, and delight in an awe-inspiring light-show at one of London’s most iconic buildings...

On Wednesday 8th June, Bombay Sapphire is hosting an awesome evening on the River Thames. You will set sail from The Savoy Pier on The Silver Sturgeon, a luxury 21st Century yacht, and enjoy delicious cocktails and food, a re-imagined photo booth (all is not what it seems!) and a much sought-after mixology goody bag...

As darkness falls, The Silver Sturgeon will arrive alongside the breathtaking Battersea Power Station, onto which a spectacular 3D light-show will be projected. Created by Albania's Erjola Veliaj, winner of Bombay Sapphire’s 'global competition of imagination', this dazzling light-show is based on the Rubik’s Cube, and will reflect vibrantly on the Thames.

To get you in the mood, you can create Bombay Sapphire’s brand new Mediterranean G&T at home - a lively, fresh drink that was specially created for the Chelsea Flower Show 2011. Using the brand new Mediterranean Fever-Tree Tonic, which blends essentials oils from flowers, fruits and herbs gathered from Mediterranean shores with the highest quality quinine from the fever trees of eastern Congo, this is an exotic alfresco tipple for enjoying all summer. Here's the recipe:

50 ml Bombay Sapphire

200 ml Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water

Fill a highball glass with ice.  Pour in the Bombay Sapphire and top up with the Fever-Tree tonic.  Garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of lemon thyme.
