Hot Harlequin fabrics and wallpapers

I'm about to redecorate my living room and as I was looking for inspiration on colours and styles on this cheeky Tuesday, these zingy new fabric and wallpaper designs from Harlequin Studio caught my eye. The new range launching next month is called Anoushka and is a spirited collection of prints, weaves, embroideries and wallpapers. Bold motifs and variations of scale give Anoushka its signature look, featuring overblown florals, diminutive buds, elegant leaf trails and simple foliage, broad ribbon stripes and fine, casual pinstripes.

The colour palette comprises fuchsia; rosebud; citrine; olive; seaglass; stone; burnt orange; mandarin; scarlet; amethyst; charcoal; straw; string; honey and amber, which is a bonus as I was getting a bit bored of the pale green everything in my current living room. Drawing inspiration from a number of folkloric influences in textiles, fashion, illustration, art and ceramics, Anoushka by Harlequin is designed to clash and blend to create a glorious bohemian fusion - just the thing to add some zing to my home after a long and winding January…

The fabrics are made from natural fibres - linen, silk and cotton – as well as unusual and gorgeous textures, while the wallpapers have been printed on non-woven paper, which makes them both simpler to use and easier to hang. Phew.
