Chic shopping – Trellick Tower cushions

A 31-storey block of flats in west London might not be the most obvious choice for a cushion print, but for those in the know - and if you're a) a fan of the delicious Portuguese cafe nearby b) know your Blur songs  c) have ever lived/worked in that neck of the woods - you'll appreciate the exquisite beauty of Trellick Tower. It was designed in the Brutalist style by architect Ernő Goldfinger, completed in 1972, and the building, which is now something of a local cult landmark, was awarded a Grade II* listing in 1998. Cushions with the iconic design printed on them will go on promotion at ACHICA tomorrow from The London Cushion Co by the cult designers People Will Always Need Plates. But if the Trellick Tower image doesn't quite do it for you, there are lots more city scenes to choose from such as Kensel Green and the charming Traffic cushions...
