Kelly Hoppen and Jimmy Choo (yes, I said Jimmy Choo)

I recently tottered along to the launch of Kelly Hoppen’s new range of furniture for Halo, at charming venue Il Bottacio in London. But wait, there’s more. Not only was Kelly launching her new designs, which feature sofas, armchairs, occasional tables and accessories, but she was doing it alongside the launch of Jimmy Choo’s new Choo 24:7 boots. My dilemma: Do I concentrate on Kelly Hoppen’s beautiful streamlined furniture range? The Choos? Or the show-stopping ceiling with gold cornicing above? Hmm.

So anyway, back to Kelly Hoppen’s new range. Her trademark simple but opulent approach to interior design is reflected in the range of thirty pieces of ‘vintage inspired living and dining designs’. The pieces come in a broad variety of fabrics and finishes made from leather, oak, pine and lacquer. This glamorous range isn’t quite how I’d describe vintage, but I suppose it’s as vintage as Kelly gets and I think it’s rather gorgeous, don’t you?
