Dreamy designer classics

Oh Barcelona how I love you – the bustling Ramblas, the relaxing beaches, the icy sangrias in Placa Reial at sunset – you’ve even got a chair named after you. Speaking of that chair, I’m rather excited that there’s a stunning designer classic on promotion this week.

The Barcelona chair and Ottoman set is inspired by the original created by Mies Van Der Rohe for the German Pavilion of the 1929 Barcelona World Exhibition. It epitomises modern architecture.

Equally stunning is the Eames chair and footstool based on the original design from 1956 by American architects Ray and Charles Eames. Available in black or white Italian leather with walnut veneer woodwork on an aluminium frame the design is comfy yet oh so chic.
